The Princess Anne, Princess Royal, LG, LT, GCVO, QSO (Anne Elizabeth Alice Louise Laurence, formerly Phillips, née Mountbatten-Windsor), styled HRH The Princess Royal (b. 1950), is a member of the British Royal Family. She is the seventh holder of the title Princess Royal. She has been a princess with the style of Her Royal Highness since her birth and is currently ninth in the line of succession to the British throne.

Princess Anne attended the world premiere of The Muppet Movie, which was held in London at the Leicester Square Theatre. The Muppet Show Fan Club newsletter (Volume 2, Number 1) reported: "Luckily for Kermit fans, discretion was the order of the day -- the Princess did not kiss the Frog."
