Poupas was an orange bird, and counterpart to Big Bird, who appeared on Rua Sésamo, the Portuguese co-production of Sesame Street.

He liked to discover new things every day. He's friends to all of the inhabitants of the street, nourishing a big friendship with everybody. He likes to talk specially with Ferrão, André and Guiomar. Sometimes he is a littlebit a disaster-prone, but has good heart and recognizes always his faults.
