Pook-a-Looz are a new plush toy line made by the Walt Disney Company, scheduled for release in spring 2010. [1] The toys are stylized, flattened fleece plush dolls with a distinctive "home-made" look. The Pook-a-Looz line includes characters from a variety of Disney properties, including Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Snow White and Toy Story.
Four Muppet characters will be included in the first wave of Pook-a-Looz toys -- Kermit the Frog, Animal, Fozzie Bear and Gonzo.
Pook-a-Looz will be available in several sizes, including medium-size plush and smaller keychain versions. According to information at the Disney Consumer Products pavilion at the D23 Expo in September 2009, the Muppet Pook-a-Looz were planned for release in December. That release date was pushed back to 2010 and the Pook-a-Looz were released for sale on DisneyStore.com in April 2010. [2]
