Polynesia is the mentor, tutor, and friend of Dr. Dolittle. She was built by the Jim Henson Creature Shop, along with 94 other animatronic animals, for the London West End musical Dr. Dolittle.

Polynesia was performed by Sarah Burgess, to a vocal track by Julie Andrews.
