Playhouse Disney: Live on Stage is a 20-minute stage show that took place in Disney-MGM Studios at Walt Disney World (now known as Disney's Hollywood Studios). It opened on October 1, 2001, replacing Bear in the Big Blue House: Live on Stage. While the new show still prominently featured Bear, Tutter, Treelo, Pip and Pop, and Ojo, it also included a rotating cast of characters from The Book of Pooh and other popular Playhouse Disney shows.
The Bear in the Big Blue House characters made their last appearance in the show on January 2, 2008. A revised show now includes characters from newer Playhouse Disney shows like Handy Manny and Little Einsteins.
A reworked version of the show also appeared at the Disneyland resort.
