Platinum All-Time Favorites was first released on CD and cassette in 1995. The album was reissued on CD by Koch Records in 2008. The re-released album includes the same track listing, with new cover art and a lyrics booklet.

In 2015, the album was selected by the Library of Congress to be inducted in the National Recording Registry.^[1]
