Philip Casson is a British television director. Along with Peter Harris, he directed approximately half of all Muppet Show episodes. He also directed many of the Muppet Playhouse videos.

Casson began his career by training as a dancer, and performed as both a dancer and choreographer with Ballet Montmartre[1]. His other directing credits include episodes of the satirical puppet series Spitting Image, TV adaptations of Shakespeare's MacBeth and The Comedy of Errors, and several seasons of the soap opera EastEnders.
