Peter Eyre

Peter Eyre (b. 1942) is an American-born actor who has worked primarily in England on stage, film, and television since the 1960s. He appeared in the 1998 Creature Shop TV movie Merlin as the chief physician. A year later, he played the frog-faced footman in Alice in Wonderland, having previously appeared in a 1966 TV Alice in Wonderland, as the Knave of Hearts.
Eyre's film credits include the 1970 version of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (as Cinna the Poet, with John Gielgud, Diana Rigg, and Christopher Lee), Dragonslayer, and From Hell. Television credits have included Kavanagh QC, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes, and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. He guest starred in two episodes of Friends, as the registrar at Ross and Emily's wedding in the fourth season finale, and in the fifth season premiere.
