Pete Prescott was a sound effects artist throughout the 1960s for the ABC Radio and Television Networks. He created all the sound effects for The Jimmy Dean Show, including all the Rowlf skits, when the show was taped at ABC's largest studio, TV-1 on West 66th Street in New York.
Prescott later worked for CBS. He was also well known working with his father, sound effects artist Robert Prescott, on many award winning record albums, such as Cartoons in Stereo, The First Family with Vaughn Meader, Welcome to the LBJ Ranch and many others.
