Pete is the owner of Pete's Luncheonette in The Muppets Take Manhattan. A Greek immigrant who started out with nothing, Pete is a crusty but good-hearted restaurateur. He has a philosophical side, exhibited through his repeated phrase, "Peoples is peoples."
