Persephone was wife of Hades and Queen of the Greek Underworld. She was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter.

Persephone was featured in story of "Orpheus and Eurydice". Orpheus' music softened her heart, and the heart of Hades, which allowed him a chance to bring Eurydice to the upper world.
