Percy Edwards

Percy Edwards (1908-1996) was an English ornithologist and performer specializing in zoologically accurate bird and animal imitations. In many ways, he was an English counterpart to Frank Welker.
For Jim Henson, Edwards provided the sounds of Fizzgig in The Dark Crystal and Ambrosius in Labyrinth. Other credits include whale noises for Orca, reindeer sounds for Santa Clause: The Movie, dog growls for the animated film The Plague Dogs, and Bartholomew the Aberdeen terrier in multiple P.G. Wodehouse radio adaptations.
