Penélope Cruz (b. 1974) is an Academy Award winning Spanish actress best known for her roles in Vanilla Sky and Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Cruz was the first Academy Award winning Spanish actress, and the first Spanish actress to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Cruz was interviewed by Kermit the Frog on the black carpet for the world premiere at Disneyland of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, in which Cruz stars. Among her other credits are the Rob Marshall directed musical Nine and Sex and the City 2.
