Pavel Tesař (b. 1967) is a Czech voice actor who dubbed Elmo in Sezame, pojď si hrát (Play with Me Sesame) and the Czech version of Elmo's World. He also dubbed '80s Robot in Mupeti (The Muppets) and Beaker and Rizzo the Rat in other dubs.
Tesař has been active in dubbing since the nineties, lending his usually high-pitched voice to Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye in the Marvel movies, Hervé Villechaize in The Man with the Golden Gun, David Tennant in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Jared Leto in Suicide Squad, B. J. Novak in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Alpha 5 in Power Rangers. Cartoon roles include Simon in the Alvin and the Chipmunks movies, Fear in Inside Out, Milhouse van Houten on The Simpsons, Megavolt on Darkwing Duck, Cavin on The Adventures of the Gummi Bears, and Private in the Madagascar franchise.
On-camera, Tesař appeared in the 2002 horror film Deathwatch (with Jamie Bell) and various Czech TV series (as well as two televised stagings of Terry Pratchett books).
