• Kermit the Frog made a guest appearance on a Thanksgiving-themed episode which first aired on November 9, 2007. While promoting The Muppet Show: Season Two on DVD, Paula made Kermit a deep-fried pumpkin cake.

• Elmo joined Paula for her "Black and White Ball" on February 23, 2008. Between his character's appearances, Kevin Clash could be seen in the audience.
