Pat Benatar and Fozzie Bear

Pat Benatar (b. 1953) is an award-winning, chart-topping, singer-songwriter who started her music career in the early 1970s. Some of her hits include "Love is a Battlefield", "We Belong", "Heartbreaker", and "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" (which was featured on Constantine's "Good To Be Bad Playlist" on Spotify in March 2014).

Fozzie Bear met Benatar at the filming of HBO's special for the 10th anniversary of the comedy club Catch a Falling Star in the Winter 1983 issue of Muppet Magazine.

In the Fall 1983 issue, she writes a letter to Robin the Frog about a school teacher who encouraged her to develop her musical talents.

She also appeared in the pre-filmed music video for "Yakety Yak - Take It Back" which was featured on Sesame Street.
