Ozomatli is a three-time Grammy Award winning band. They performed all of the music for Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece, released on June 15, 2012, and composed some original songs for it. The groups style combinds many influences, from Indian and Jamaican ragga to samba, salsa, and hip-hop, among others.

Previously, they created songs for PBS Kids music video interstitial segments.^[1]
