The Teppums

The Teppums were extraterrestrial doppelgangers to the Muppets, featured on Episode 101: Science Fiction of The Jim Henson Hour. Their names were backward versions of familiar Muppet characters; named Teppums included Timrek the Gorf (Kermit) and Oznog (Gonzo), as well as Teppum versions of Digit and Leon. Versions of Bootsie and Brad also appear on their "reversed" version of The Jim Henson Hour.

Their fur and skin appeared to be a negative photo image of the original characters', but they otherwise looked and acted the same. They had a propensity for wearing odd hats.

The Teppums had their own show, broadcast on a different planet, which Digit was able to access. They appeared on a purple monitor and sang "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" with the Muppets.
