Otto Waalkes (b. 1948) is a German comedian, singer, and actor. He guest starred on Sesamstrasse episode 2336, broadcast on July 28, 2006, as Hannes, the rain man, who needs Finchen's help.

In 2007, Waalkes returned to the series, playing reporter Norbert Neugier in thirteen installments of the "Ernie & Bert Show."

He had previously appeared on the children's variety show Grosse Show für kleine Leute in 1984, on which Uncle Traveling Matt made a guest appearance as well.

In addition to performing stand-up, Waalkes has starred in several television series and films, usually in the guise of the naive Otto, and has also produced several comedy albums, many of which feature his characters the Ottifanten (a group of elephant-like creatures). As a voice actor, he has dubbed such animated characters as Mushu in Mulan and Sid the Sloth in Ice Age, and their respective sequels/spin-offs.
