Otters are small aquatic mammals who love to swim and eat fish and seafood. Like many North American and European mammals, otters have appeared in many Muppet productions.

• A group of otters appeared on The Muppet Show in episode 524, in Roger Moore's "Talk to the Animals" number.

• Emmet Otter and his mother Alice Otter starred in the television special Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas.

• Pip and Pop, two purple otters, appeared as regular characters on Bear in the Big Blue House. Their grandparents, Otto and Etta Otter, are recurring characters.

• Plunk the Sea Otter was a guest on The Animal Show in episode 112.

• Louis is a Canadian otter on Sesame Park.
