"Oscar's Junk Band " was, of course, performed by Oscar the Grouch and His Junk Band . The song was performed when Bob was about to throw out an old broom handle, until Oscar rescues it for his washtub bass, leading to a song about recycling. Bob compliments their environmental message, but Oscar simply tells him he does not care.
