"On Top of Old Smokey" is a traditional American folk song which tells a tale about a lost love. On the 1975 album Bert & Ernie Sing-Along, it is sung by Grover, with special lyrics about Grover having lost a bunch of personal items. However, when he gets home, he sees his mother, who has all of his stuff.
