Besides the Gambler, two large old Muppet men appeared in the number "The Gambler" in Episode 410: Kenny Rogers of The Muppet Show. They had very detailed foam rubber faces and live human hands. One, with gray hair and glasses, re-appeared later in Episode 420: Alan Arkin (where he was the balladeer in the opening number "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", performed by Jim Henson) and in Episode 517: Hal Linden (where he played the trombone in the the final number "When the Saints Go Marching In").
