"Oh Babe What Would You Say" was written by Norman Smith, a musician and producer who worked frequently with the Beatles and Pink Floyd. He had originally written "Oh Babe What Would You Say" for another artist but was persuaded to release the demo for which he had provided the vocals, and the song, released under his stage name Hurricane Smith, was a #3 hit on the pop charts. It has also been recorded by Liza Minnelli.

"Oh Babe What Would You Say" was performed by Thog on two occasions, first with Julie Andrews on The Julie Andrews Hour, and again as a duet with Kaye Ballard on episode 123 of The Muppet Show.
