Mr. Snuffleupagus sings "Nobody", expressing his sorrow that nobody can see or hear him, and no matter how often he wishes on stars, nobody wants him. He knows that people are shy around strange things, but open up their hearts to the familiar. So he plans to go home and pretend he's the moon, or spring, or best of all, love.
