Nigel Plaskitt is a British puppeteer who learned his puppeteering craft on the TV series Pipkins. In his early performing days he also appeared as an actor, most notably as Malcolm in the Vicks Sinex advertisements. As a major puppeteer Plaskitt was hired for the second series of Spitting Image, and worked all the subsequent series. He is also a television and theater director, and his credits include directing Louise Gold's cabaret act. He was also the puppeteering consultant for the London production of Avenue Q.
