Nick Brimble

Nick Brimble is a British character actor who played tavern owner Andy McLean in the Creature Shop-effects film Loch Ness.
Born into a theatrical family, Brimble initially entered the teaching profession. Stage work followed, often touring in schools and conducting workshops. A tall, burly actor, Brimble has often been cast as soldiers, thugs, policemen, and various heavies, and played Little John in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and the Monster in Frankenstein Unbound. Other film credits include the Hammer horror film Lust for a Vampire (as one of the mandatory angry villagers), Gone Fishin' (as the villainous swindler who tangles with Joe Pesci and Danny Glover), A Knight's Tale (as Sir Ector), and Sheena (as a warrior). On television, he played Francis Urquart's bodyguard Corder in To Play the King and The Final Cut (both seen on Masterpiece Theater) and had recurring roles on Danger UXB, The Sweeney, and the soap opera Emmerdale.
