Neno is a character on Takalani Sesame, the South African co-production of Sesame Street. Neno is the South African version of Elmo.
Sesame Workshop description
Neno is an eternal innocent who loves to play. He is energetic, enthusiastic and consistent. At three years old, he struggles to keep up with the older characters, but insists on taking on the same challenges even when these are beyond his abilities. He loves to help others and to participate in all the activities in the community.
