Neil Selkirk (b. 1947) is a photographer whose work has been featured in many Sesame Street products, including album covers, books, and the character style guides used internally by CTW.
Selkirk studied with noted photographer Diane Arbus in the 1970s and has since served as the "exclusive printer" for her estate and for various retrospectives and exhibitions. As a photographer in his own right, Selkirk has contributed pictures to Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, and Vanity Fair. In 2000, the book 1,000 on 42nd Street was published, containing portraits taken by Selkirk of various people in New York City (including residents, tourists, and celebrities) as part of the 42nd Street Development Project in 1998.
