Nebraska is part of the United States of America and was the 37th state admitted into the union.
- In The Muppets' Wizard of Oz, when preparing to leave Kansas, Kermit the Frog announces "Next stop, Nebraska!" When Dorothy says that she wants to stay in Kansas with her family instead of touring with the Muppets, Kermit says "Well, there was that one good girl in Nebraska."
