"Nearly Missed" is an original Sesame Street song about all the beautiful things in the world we don't see if just look down at our shoes.
The song was originally performed on the show by Susan, and it appears on the 1970 album The Sesame Street Book & Record.
In 1974, Barbara Eden sang "Nearly Missed" on ABC's primetime special Out to Lunch.
A modern version of the song was sung by Rosie O'Donnell and Elmo in the 1998 special Elmopalooza.
