Ne-Yo (b. 1979), born Shaffer Chimere Smith, is an American pop and R&B singer. He has written songs for entertainers ranging Celine Dion to Beyoncé Knowles.

He appeared with Miss Piggy at the 2009 Macy's Glamorama event in Chicago, Illinois.

Previously, Ne-Yo performed at the 2008 UNICEF Snowflake lighting ceremony in New York City, an event attended by Kami from Takalani Sesame. Ne-Yo will be appearing in the 46th season of Sesame Street singing "You've Got a Body, So Move It."
