Added by BradFraggleThe National Children’s Museum (NCM) in Washington, DC announced in February 2011 a permanent Sesame Street-themed exhibit in its Early Learners gallery. The partnership will include interactive exhibits, educational video segments, and books. Sesame Workshop will also help develop content, exhibits, and programs for the museum's Our World gallery, which focuses on world culture and locations.
In the initial press release, Sesame Workshop's Gary Knell referenced admiration for the museum and their outreach programs:

Opening in 2013 at National Harbor, Maryland the National Children’s Museum will serve visitors with a new 150,000 square-foot experiential learning center and dynamic online community. The organization was founded in 1974 as the "Capital Children's Museum" and is the only national-designated museum "dedicated entirely to children and their families."
