Celeb

Nathan Lane (b. 1956) is an award winning stage and film actor.

His stage credits include the plays Lips Together, Teeth Apart, The Odd Couple, and Love! Valour! Compassion!, and the musicals A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and The Producers, for which he earned his two Tony Awards for Best Actor in a Musical. His film credits include The Lion King (as the voice of Timon) and The Birdcage.

Lane also performed the voice for Snowbell the cat in Stuart Little, and its sequel in Stuart Little 2 (the latter included effects by Jim Henson's Creature Shop).

In 2005, he appeared along goose-stepping pigeons created by the Creature Shop in the film version of The Producers, for which he a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy.

Lane also appeared on Sesame Street, performing "Sing" with the Oinker Sisters (EKA: Episode 3856), parts of which were included in the celebrity version of the song on Episode 3851.
