Name That Sound! is one of Guy Smiley's game shows, a parody of Name That Tune. The sketch involves guessing the various sounds that are heard.

In Episode 2423, Sonny Friendly appears in Bob's apartment to host a special "traveling edition" of the game show; "Name That Sound in the Middle of the Night!" The prize is a trip around the world on a jet plane. Bob guesses all of the sounds correctly, but then the sound of a plane taking off is heard, which happens to be Bob's plane leaving without him. So, as an alternate prize, Bob gets an alarm clock.

In Episode 2558, Sonny Friendly comes to the Fix-It Shop to host another traveling edition of Name That Sound!. Maria is his contestant, and the prize is a trip to the doctors office.

Grover (EKA: Episode 1858)

Grover identifies the first two sounds (a choo-choo train and a dog) correctly and in great detail, but has a bit of trouble identifying dripping water. Grover does eventually guess, but not until after the studio is flooded.

Homer Honker (EKA: Episode 1957)

Homer Honker honks when guessing the sounds, but since Guy Smiley can't understand his honks, Homer brings the objects in. Sounds include a cow (to which he brings in Gladys the Cow), a horse (which he brings in Buster the Horse, accompanied by Forgetful Jones), and a fire engine (which he brings in a fire engine full of Honkers).
