NBC's Funniest Outtakes 2 was a bloopers and outtakes show which aired on NBC on April 23, 2003. The show, which included clips mainly from NBC productions, had outtakes from It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie that were not included in the home video release. Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Rizzo and Pepe the King Prawn were interviewed briefly and appeared to help introduce some of the clips.

The outtakes included Dr. Bunsen Honeydew stopping mid-scene because he had inhaled his sleeve, Statler and Waldorf wrestling, Fozzie dancing à la Michael Jackson, Rizzo being unable to pronounce "petri dish", Pepe claiming he lost his brain, and Kermit getting hit in the head by Lew Zealand's fish.
