"My Way" was originally written in French as "Comme d'habitude". Popular Canadian performer Paul Anka adapted it into English, and it became known as Frank Sinatra's signature tune.
Gonzo performed the song as his "finale" in The Muppet Show episode 411, just before he left the show for a film career in Bombay. He also performed the song in The Muppet Show On Tour, and a new version was recorded for the album Favorite Songs From Jim Henson's Muppets.
In the finale of George of the Jungle, which included animatronic effects by Jim Henson's Creature Shop, An Ape Named Ape sang "My Way" in a flashy Las Vegas nightclub.
