Direct Connect released two lines of Muppet plush. The 1989 set of plush dolls included Kermit the Frog in a "Muppet University" sweatshirt, Miss Piggy in a poodle skirt, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf the Dog, Gonzo and Animal. In 1991, Direct Connect released a set of smaller "Toytoons" dolls, with plastic heads and fabric bodies. The Toytoons set included Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo and Animal.
