In 1996, to celebrate the release of Muppet Treasure Island, Dole Bananas offered a Muppet Treasure Island T-shirt as a mailaway premium. The shirt pictures Miss Piggy in character as Benjamina Gunn.

During the promotion, Dole also put Muppet Treasure Island stickers on their bananas.
