Threadless is an online community of artists that produces art and apparel sold worldwide. In 2011, they sponsored a competition to design Muppet T-shirts as a cross-promotion for the film, The Muppets. The theme of the competition was "friendship". Over a thousand entries were received, and a total of 23 designs were produced, available in male, female and kids sizes.

Threadless also offered a promotion package that included the winning design, a copy of The Green Album and a Muppet poster.
