Muppet Hits is a compilation of tracks previously released on the record albums The Muppet Show, The Muppet Show 2, and The Muppet Music Album. The opening included is from the first album. However, Fozzie's opening joke and Kermit introducing the record are both cut from this release. The cassette version of this album came with a lyrics book with photos.
