In 2002, Macy's produced two Kermit the Frog Christmas Ornaments to celebrate the debut of an updated Kermit balloon featured in the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The first ornament featured Kermit in the trademark Macy's shopping bag. The second ornament showed Kermit as a "Frogtographer", a tie-in to the exclusive Kermit the Frogtographer plush doll.
