Grover and Eric play a rhyming game. Grover tries to see if Eric can figure out what begins with the word "toy", and Eric wants to know if Grover can find a word that rhymes with "Monster".

Grover asks a boy how much he can count. The boy says he can count "millions of hundreds," and is hesitant at first, but Grover assures him that they have enough time to count. The boy gets up to 22 before Grover cuts him off.

Part 1: At night, Grover asks Samantha if she can count to 20, and she says she can count to 100. She starts counting, and Grover says they'll be back in a moment. Part 2:Samantha is still counting to 100, and has gone past 40. Grover says they'll be back later.Part 3:Samantha is still counting to 100. Grover advises the audience to get a cup of coffee. Part 4:Samantha finally reaches 100, and Grover cheers.
Grover and Patrick, "moon buddies," pretend to go to the moon. They see some aliens eating moon pizza, and some astronauts.
Samantha talks to Grover about what she does when she gets angry.

Grover shows Chris a sign with the word STOP. He asks Chris to tickle him until he holds up the STOP sign, and Brian obliges.

Grover tells a kid that the letter that's on the wall is an X, but that it's a secret. Kermit overhears Grover mention a secret and wants to know what letter the X is.
  • Talking About Santa
During the Christmas Eve on Sesame Street special, Grover and Kermit ask several children how they think Santa Claus gets down the chimney.
