An animated version of Mr. Snuffleupagus appeared in an animated segment called "Uncle Gus and all of us went to Ho-Ho-Kus." (First: Episode 0926) In this cartoon, Snuffy rides with Uncle Gus, a hippopotamus, and several kids, but Uncle Gus is the only one who doesn't see him.
Snuffy later appeared in animated form in The Street We Live On, during a sequence in which the Sesame Street cast appears in animated form.
