Mr. Hoofit came into Mopatop's Shop in the episode "Dancin' in the Shop" to sell some dances. He had a hard time selling dances to Mopatop and Puppyduck since they could not make up their mind and wanted to see the dances again and again. It was not until Moosey Mouse put one of the mouse families favorite dances in the mix that Mopatop and Puppyduck was sold, they ordered all of them but would like to see them all again. Luckily for Mr. Hoofir the big clock rang, making it time to close the shop.

The puppet was originally used as Mudwell the Mudbunny on Fraggle Rock. The puppet was used in many different roles on Mopatop's Shop.
