Mr. Dawson

Mr. Dawson is Kermit's old acting coach, a frog from Leland, Mississippi. He appears in The Muppet Show Episode 406, as part of Kermit's birthday tribute.

Mr. Dawson has pupils like Kermit's, and when reunited with his old student, the pair wave their arms and shout "Yaaaay!" Impressed, Fozzie Bear notes, "So that's where he learned it." Later in the show, Mr. Dawson offers tips to Zuzu Fitzwaller.

The puppet was later used, with different eyes, as the old frog (again played by Dave Goelz) in The Earth Day Special.
