Mommy Dodo is Big Bird's foster mother in Follow That Bird. The bubbly and bubble-minded Mommy and spouse Daddy Dodo are selected as ideal parents by Miss Finch.

Mommy is cheerful and optimistic but very ditzy, and does not provide Big Bird with the love and affection he needs. When Big Bird is visibly upset and cries that he wants to go home, Mommy Dodo merely tells him that he already is home, and laughs it off.

Her biological children are Donny and Marie Dodo.
