Mold

Gonzo owns what he claims is the world's biggest mold garden, made up of fungus, truffles and spores. He explains to John Denver in episode 401 of The Muppet Show, that he'd gone away on vacation, forgetting to clean out his refridgerator. When he returned, the food was all green and fuzzy: too cute to throw out.

He seeks guidance from John when he suspects that they are plotting against him. Rather, the group approaches Gonzo backstage to tell him that they'd busted the lightbulb in the refridgerator while playing puffball.

At least one of them is named Reggie, while another is performed by Jerry Nelson.

One year for Christmas, Gonzo sold the collection to buy Rizzo a diamond-tipped cheese slicer as a gift.
