Modern Bride was a monthly publication focusing on weddings and all its details, including Wedding Cakes, Gowns, Flowers, and even the groom's Tuxedo. Aimed at engaged and young women, the magazined ceased publication with its Novemeber 2009 issue due to slumping ad sales.

• In the The Miss Piggy Cover Girl Fantasy Calendar, Miss Piggy spoofs the magazine with a cover titled "How to have a marriage made in heaven - not Taiwan". Besides framed images of posters for The Muppet Movie, the cover spoof also features the Muppets' parody of Jean-Honoré Fragonard's "The Swing" hanging on the right hand wall, which was first featured in The Miss Piggy Calendar 1980.
