The character was performed by Bob Payne with Louise Gold, Dave Holman, and Faz Fazakas assisting.[1]
The Craver was envisioned in initial sketch designs with more vibrant colors (purple, red, and orange), which ultimately changed to deeper shades of green. The puppet had complex facial mechanisms that mobilized his eyes and hair (twirling when drinking down his desired drink).
